The client is a leading global provider of third-party support for Oracle and SAP enterprise software, serving more than 1,750 organizations, including many Fortune 500 and Global 100 companies, at roughly half the cost of vendor support.
Migrate the PeopleSoft environments it hosted for its customers from its own data center to Amazon Web Services.
A Comprobase infrastructure team of PeopleSoft, security, UNIX and Windows administrators and DBAs worked around the clock to build servers, install software, migrate databases, and configure web, application and batch tiers in AWS.
Comprobase developers and QA testers validated each environment after migration through regression, performance and security testing.
More than 100 customer environments had to move within three months. They spanned PeopleSoft releases 7.5 through 9.2, and the middleware, web, application and database tiers all had to move onto newer operating systems.
All 100+ PeopleSoft environments were migrated to AWS within the three-month window. The procedures and methodology Comprobase developed remain in use by the client today.
